ORIGIN’S BOOK PATRONS’ PROGRAM (6/15/04) For a minimum $5000 loan, patrons can become the champion of an Origin Press book. The Origin Patron’s Program involves an unsecured loan at 7 percent compounded interest with a two-year term. Principle plus interest is payed quarterly. The term of the loan begins three months after the book's publication date, and is paid out in eight installments. Patrons who wish to incur more risk for the sake of participating in the possible upside of a book may negotiate customized arrangements with the publisher.
